Memorial Day 2009

Genevieve is still has an adversion to loud noises, needless to say all the sirens in the parade were not the highlight to her weekend.  Saturday evening we took a boat ride on Jackson Lake, which still had some snowbanks on the shore.

Easter 2009

The Easter Bunny dropped off plenty of eggs and candy and Jack claims he heard the bunny come in. We had nice weather and no snow on the ground for the Easter Egg hunt(s). Genevieve is still trying to understand there is a limit to how much candy that can go into your mouth, as she choked this morning.  It was a quick recovery and she was back to eating gallons of jelly beans.

First runs down Apres Vous

Jackie Boy skied off the top of Apres Vous mountain at the Jackson Hole Ski Resort.  We made two runs and his little legs were rubber by the end.  >> See the photos.

Jack’s 4th Birthday

It was all about Astronauts this year.  Momma Jenkins went all out with the space theme.  Dad spent the weekend building a rocket ship and satellite.  Turns out the sledding in the front yard was the real hit. He fielded a number of questions about how he got to the Moon and if his parents came with him.  See the Photos

2009 President’s Day Weekend

The kids had a busy weekend between going to the Cutter’s races and playing on the Snow Fort at the base of our ski area, Jackson Hole Mtn Resort. Obviously Genevieve is still warming up to the idea of sledding. Jack thinks he can fly and there is no limit to what you can jump off of.
